Madrid is not just getting a single Bad Bunny show in 2026 — the Spanish capital is getting a full takeover.

With an extraordinary run of dates at one of Europe’s most impressive stadiums, Madrid becomes the beating heart of Bad Bunny’s European tour. This isn’t a quick stop between cities. It’s a residency-style moment, the kind of concert series that turns an entire metropolis into a festival zone for two full weeks.

For fans, this is the dream scenario: more dates, more chances to get tickets, and an atmosphere that will build night after night until Madrid feels like the global center of reggaeton.

And with Bad Bunny’s tour demand exploding after the media storm around his Super Bowl 2026 performance — plus his decision to avoid most U.S. concerts — Madrid is now attracting not only Europeans, but huge waves of American fans flying overseas for the experience.

Madrid Concert Essentials 🎟️

Here is the key information upfront:

Venue: Riyadh Air Metropolitano

Venue capacity: ~70,000

Concert Dates:

May 30 & May 31, 2026

June 2 & June 3, 2026

June 6 & June 7, 2026

June 10 & June 11, 2026

June 14 & June 15, 2026

Tickets: Find available seats through Viagogo

Viagogo is a global ticket marketplace where fans can look for resale tickets, especially when official inventory sells out quickly or demand spikes close to the concert weekend.

For more travel inspiration before you arrive, explore the local highlights in the official Madrid Guide.

Madrid: The Biggest Bad Bunny Stop in Europe 🌍

Barcelona may have the beach, Lisbon may have the Atlantic charm — but Madrid has something else:

Scale. Intensity. Momentum.

Madrid is a city built for major events. This is Spain’s capital of nightlife, football, street culture, and late-night energy, and Bad Bunny’s multi-date run fits perfectly into the city’s rhythm.

When an artist books ten stadium nights in one city, it’s a statement:

Madrid is not just part of the tour.

Madrid is the tour.

Expect fans from all over Europe planning entire vacations around these dates, and locals treating each concert night like a citywide celebration.

Bad Bunny’s Global Breakthrough: A Superstar Without Borders 👑

Bad Bunny’s rise is one of the defining music stories of the last decade.

He emerged from Puerto Rico’s new wave of Latin trap, but quickly became something far bigger — an artist who reshaped the global music industry without changing who he was.

Bad Bunny didn’t translate his sound for the world.

The world came to him.

His albums became cultural events, blending reggaeton, trap, pop, and experimental influences with lyrics that move between confidence, vulnerability, and social commentary.

Today, he’s not only a chart leader — he’s a symbol of how Spanish-language music has become central to global pop culture.

And Madrid, with its international spirit, is the perfect stage for that kind of moment.

The Super Bowl 2026 Effect: Controversy Turned Into Fuel 🏈🔥

Bad Bunny’s visibility reached another level after his Super Bowl 2026 performance.

The show was bold, unmistakably Latin, and instantly unforgettable — but it also triggered one of the biggest public reactions of the year when Donald Trump spoke out heavily against it.

Instead of slowing Bad Bunny down, the criticism created even more curiosity and attention worldwide.

Streams surged. Headlines spread. The tour became even more desirable.

It’s the classic modern pop culture paradox:

The louder the backlash, the bigger the spotlight.

And now, Madrid is benefiting from that spotlight more than almost any other European city.

Why Americans Are Flying to Madrid for These Concerts ✈️🇺🇸

One of the most fascinating aspects of Bad Bunny’s 2026 tour is the international travel wave it’s creating.

Because Bad Bunny is boycotting most U.S. concerts (with the Super Bowl as the exception), American fans who want the real stadium tour experience are now coming to Europe.

Madrid is one of the top destinations for that pilgrimage.

It offers:

multiple concert dates

easy international flight connections

legendary nightlife

and the feeling of being part of something historic

In June 2026, don’t be surprised if you hear English, Spanish, French, Italian — and American accents — all singing the same lyrics outside the Metropolitano.

Riyadh Air Metropolitano: A Modern Stadium Built for Spectacle 🏟️

Bad Bunny’s Madrid concerts take place at the stunning Riyadh Air Metropolitano, home of Atlético Madrid.

This is one of Europe’s newest and most modern stadiums, designed for massive crowds, world-class sound, and unforgettable atmosphere.

With around 70,000 fans inside, the Metropolitano will feel less like a concert venue and more like a living, breathing festival.

Getting There

The stadium is well connected via:

Metro Line 7 (Estadio Metropolitano station)

City buses from central Madrid

Taxi and rideshare (expect heavy traffic on concert nights)

Arrive early — these nights will be packed.

Bad Bunny in Madrid: What Would He Explore? 🌆✨

Madrid is a city of style, confidence, and nonstop movement — which makes it easy to imagine Bad Bunny thriving here.

If he had a free day before stepping on stage, he might be drawn to places that match his bold aesthetic:

Salamanca: Luxury and Fashion Energy

Bad Bunny’s fashion influence is massive, and Madrid’s upscale Salamanca district would fit perfectly — designer streets, sleek cafés, and high-end city swagger.

Malasaña: Underground Cool

For the creative edge, Malasaña offers street art, vintage shops, and nightlife that feels rebellious and alive.

Late Nights in La Latina

Madrid’s tapas culture is legendary, and La Latina is where the city truly comes alive after dark.

For more ideas, check out the best places to visit in the city through Madrid attractions.

What to Do in Madrid Around the Concert 🎫🏛️

A Bad Bunny concert trip is the perfect excuse to turn Madrid into a full weekend adventure.

Must-see experiences include:

The Prado Museum, one of Europe’s greatest art collections

Retiro Park, the city’s green escape

Gran Vía, Madrid’s iconic main boulevard

A rooftop sunset drink before the show

Madrid in early summer is buzzing, so booking museums and activities ahead is smart.

To see what else is happening during concert week, browse the city’s calendar at Madrid concerts and events.

Madrid Food Before the Show 🍷🍤

Madrid is not a city where you grab a quick snack and leave.

Food is part of the lifestyle — and concert night deserves something memorable.

Try:

Jamón ibérico with a glass of Rioja

Patatas bravas at a traditional tapas bar

Bocadillo de calamares near Plaza Mayor

Churros con chocolate after the concert chaos

Bad Bunny night in Madrid should taste as good as it sounds.

Tips for Planning the Perfect Madrid Concert Trip 🗓️

With ten dates, you have options — but Madrid will still sell fast.

Smart planning includes:

✅ Choose your preferred date early
✅ Book hotels near metro lines for easy stadium access
✅ Arrive hours before showtime for security and atmosphere
✅ Secure tickets through Viagogo if official sales are gone
✅ Stay an extra day — Madrid is too good for a one-night trip

This is not just a concert.

It’s a full Madrid experience.

Madrid is ready. Linkin Park is bringing not one, but two massive concerts to the Spanish capital in June 2026. As part of their highly anticipated European tour, the band will take over Auditorio Miguel Ríos for two back-to-back nights packed with nostalgia, power, and pure stadium energy.

Positioned between Lisbon and Florence on their tour schedule, Madrid becomes a key stop in what promises to be one of the biggest rock tours of the year.

Linkin Park in Madrid – Concert Information

Venue: Auditorio Miguel Ríos

Venue capacity: Approx. 15,000–20,000 (open-air configuration)

Concert Dates: June 23 & June 24, 2026

Concert Time: Around 21:00 (subject to official confirmation)

Tickets: Available via Viagogo

For the complete routing and official updates, visit the Linkin Park official tour page.

From Lisbon to Madrid – The Iberian Jump 🇵🇹➡️🇪🇸

Before arriving in Madrid, Linkin Park performs at Rock in Rio Lisboa on June 21, 2026. The move from Lisbon to Madrid covers roughly 625 km, making it one of the more manageable transitions on the European leg.

At this scale, touring logistics are a masterpiece of coordination:

🚛 Production trucks transport stage equipment overnight.

🚌 Crew members often travel by tour bus.

✈️ Band members typically fly charter between cities to maximize rest.

Given the two-night setup in Madrid, the full production will likely arrive early to ensure both evenings run flawlessly. Two nights also allow for possible setlist variations — something die-hard fans will appreciate.

After Madrid – On to Florence 🇮🇹

Following the Madrid concerts on June 23 and 24, the tour continues to Florence, Italy, where the band is scheduled to perform at Visarno Arena on June 26.

The routing makes geographical sense:
Lisbon → Madrid → Florence → Werchter (Belgium)

With only one day between Madrid and Florence, the production crew will once again work overnight. Meanwhile, the band will likely fly directly to Italy, preserving energy for the next high-impact show.

Madrid’s double date means the city becomes a focal point in the European stretch — not just another stop, but a major highlight.

Auditorio Miguel Ríos – Madrid’s Rock Arena 🎶

Located in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, just outside central Madrid, Auditorio Miguel Ríos is one of Spain’s most respected open-air concert venues.

Named after legendary Spanish rocker Miguel Ríos, the venue has hosted major international artists for decades. With space for up to 20,000 fans in an open-air setting, it creates the perfect atmosphere for large-scale productions.

Expect:

Massive LED visuals

Thunderous bass echoing into the warm June night

Thousands of fans singing every word of “In the End”

There’s something special about summer concerts in Madrid — warm evenings, dramatic sunsets, and crowds that sing louder than the band itself.

Madrid Summer 2026 – A Live Music Powerhouse 🎤☀️

Linkin Park joins an already stacked summer lineup in Madrid.

Other major 2026 highlights include:

Bruno Mars at Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium

The Weeknd in late August

Mad Cool Festival 2026 at Iberdrola Music Venue

Festival Río Babel in early July

Madrid has firmly positioned itself as one of Europe’s leading live music capitals.

First Time Visiting Madrid? Here’s What You Should Know 🇪🇸✨

If you’re traveling internationally for the show, Madrid offers far more than just a concert.

🕒 The City Runs Late

Madrid is a festival city in the summer, and one of the biggest and coolest events in the city is the annual “Mad Cool Festival.” It all started in 2016, and has since then become a gigantic festival. The festival normally lasts for three days, and during this time, more than 200,000 visitors come by the area (between 60,000-80,000 per day). Such numbers attract popular artists, which is why famous bands and artists such as Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and several others have performed at the festival throughout the years.

The event is arranged at Iberdrola Music Venue, an outdoor concert area with space for more than 100,000 people. It is also used for other events, but the “Mad Cool Festival” is the biggest and most popular event hosted at the venue. During the first years of existence, “Mad Cool Festival” was arranged at Caja Magica, but since 2018, the festival has been held at its current location. Would you like to experience a festival at Caja Magica as well? Read more about Festival Rio Babel here.

Iberdrola is located in the Valdebebas-IFEMA area, which is about 30km away from the Barajas Airport. It is quite easy to travel to the festival, and if you take metro line number 3 to the stop Villaverde Alto, then you can either travel on from there by tram, or simply walk with your feet. On foot, the distance is about 1,5km from the metro stop to the festival area.

“Mad Cool Festival” 2026

A normal three day pass for the festival costs approximately €200 if you buy it at the official website of the festival. If all tickets are sold out, use the ticket link above to buy passes and tickets from others trying to sell their own tickets.

We don’t know a lot about artists coming to Mad Cool Festival in Madrid in 2026 yet, but look at the poster below to see who came in 2025.

The wait is finally over for Spanish “Hooligans.” Global superstar Bruno Mars has officially announced his return to Spain as part of The Romantic Tour 2026. This marks his first full headline stadium tour in nearly a decade, following the legendary 24K Magic World Tour. With a brand-new album on the horizon and a string of record-breaking hits, the upcoming Madrid shows are set to be the musical event of the year.

The Evolution of a Legend: From “Uptown Funk” to “The Romantic”

Bruno Mars is more than just a singer; he is a generational performer often compared to legends like Michael Jackson and Prince. Known for his showmanship, retro-inspired style, and flawless vocals, Mars has dominated the charts for over fifteen years.

His trophy cabinet is one of the most crowded in the industry. As of 2026, he has secured over 15 Grammy Awards, including three wins for “Record of the Year”—a feat shared by very few artists in history. From his debut with Doo-Wops & Hooligans to the soulful Silk Sonic era with Anderson .Paak, Bruno has consistently evolved his sound.

Biggest Hits and Recent Success

Fans attending the Madrid concerts can expect a setlist packed with timeless classics and fresh chart-toppers. His career is defined by Diamond-certified anthems like:

“Just the Way You Are” (The highest-certified song in RIAA history)

“Uptown Funk”

“Locked Out of Heaven”

“That’s What I Like”

But Bruno isn’t just resting on his laurels. The years 2024 and 2025 were massive for him, thanks to the record-breaking collaboration “Die With A Smile” with Lady Gaga and the global viral sensation “APT.” with ROSÉ. Most recently, his 2026 single “I Just Might” from his latest album, The Romantic, debuted at number one, proving that his Midas touch is stronger than ever.

The Weeknd’s journey from mysterious “dark-R&B” mixtape artist to global pop juggernaut is nothing short of legendary. With his signature blend of 80s synth-pop and moody, noir-inspired lyricism, Abel Tesfaye has fundamentally reshaped the sound of modern music.

Albums like After Hours and Dawn FM aren’t just collections of songs; they are cinematic experiences that explore the themes of heartbreak, isolation, and redemption. In Madrid, fans can expect a visual and auditory feast, featuring a massive stage production that mirrors the haunting, high-gloss aesthetic of his most recent eras. From the soaring high notes of “Save Your Tears” to the record-breaking pulse of “Blinding Lights,” the night promises to be a masterclass in modern performance.

While you’re in the city for the “After Hours Til Dawn” tour, make sure to soak in the local culture that makes Madrid so unique. Before heading to the stadium, spend your day exploring the city’s timeless landmarks:

Relaxation: Take a stroll through the lush Retiro Park, Madrid’s green lung, and enjoy the Crystal Palace.

Pro Tip for Travelers

Madrid has officially joined the Formula 1 calendar as the new home of the Spanish Grand Prix. Starting in 2026, the race will take place on a newly constructed hybrid circuit known as Madring, designed to combine the energy of a street race with the performance of a purpose-built track. Whether you’re planning to visit during the inaugural race or in the years to come, here’s everything you need to know about the Formula 1 experience in Madrid.

🏎️ The Track: Madring

The Madring circuit is located in the northeast of Madrid, near the IFEMA exhibition center and Barajas Airport. The layout features 22 turns and stretches over 5.47 kilometers, weaving through city streets and dedicated track sections. Fans can expect a mix of high-speed straights, technical corners, a banked turn, and even a tunnel section. It’s designed to offer thrilling racing, exciting overtaking opportunities, and great visibility for spectators.

The circuit includes grandstands in several key areas, with excellent views of overtaking zones and pit activity. The overall design ensures fans are close to the action—something city circuits are uniquely good at delivering.

🚆 Getting to the Circuit

One of the best parts of attending the race in Madrid is how easy it is to get to the track. The venue is just a few metro stops from the city center, directly connected by public transportation. It’s also close to the airport, making it ideal for international visitors. You won’t need a car—Madrid’s public transport system is fast, affordable, and efficient.

🏁 From Barcelona to Madrid: A New Era

For decades, the Spanish Grand Prix was hosted in Barcelona, but starting with the 2026 season, Madrid has taken over the event. While the Catalunya circuit will still hold its final race in June 2026, the capital is now home to Spain’s only official Formula 1 race. The move marks a new era, with the Madrid race aiming to blend sport and culture in the heart of one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

🌆 What to Do in Madrid During Race Weekend

If you’re coming to Madrid for the Grand Prix, there’s plenty more to experience beyond the race track. Consider arriving a few days early or staying longer to enjoy the city’s top attractions:

Explore Madrid’s museums, including the world-famous Prado, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Stroll through El Retiro Park, or enjoy tapas and wine in local neighborhoods like La Latina and Malasaña.

Catch a flamenco show, experience a Real Madrid football match at Santiago Bernabéu, or shop along Gran Vía.

Attend concerts and special events happening the same weekend—Madrid is alive with culture year-round.

You don’t really need an excuse to visit Madrid as the city is so amazing that you should visit it no matter what. The running competition on the last day of the year has been a tradition in Madrid since 1964.

One part of the run is a fun race in which anyone can participate. There is a second race in which only professionals can participate, requiring you to run 10,000 meters in less than 40 minutes (or something like that). You can read more about all the requirements at the website which we refer to further down in the article.

There is also a children’s run on December 23.
