How do I get to Reina Sofia?
Getting to the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid is pretty straightforward. If you’re using the metro, the closest station is Atocha, which is on Line 1. From there, it’s just a short walk to the museum.
You can also take a bus; many routes stop nearby, including numbers 6, 10, 14, 19, 27, 32, 34, 36, 41, 45, 47, 55, 59, 85, 86, 102, and 247.
If you prefer to walk, the museum is in the Atocha neighborhood, so it’s easily accessible from many parts of the city. Enjoy your visit! When you are finished, you will quickly discover that the museum isn’t very far from other popular art museums such as Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza, so you can easily combine your trip to Reina Sofia with a visit to one of those museums as well.
