Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid which means “Sports Palace of the Community of Madrid” is an indoor concert and sports venue in the centre of Madrid. Earlier there was an arena at the same place which was destroyed in a fire, and a new high-tech arena was built at the location between 2002-2005. This is the arena as you can experience today when you visit Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad.

Since July 2014 this arena is now officially no longer referred to as Palaio de Deportes de la Comunidad, but the new official name is Barclaycard Center, due to sponsership agreements. The venue has capacity for 13,000 for basketball matches, space for 14,000 for handball matches and at most 15,500 people for concerts.
