The world wide known Australian rock band the AC/DC will perform in the capital city of Spain in Madrid. AC/DC is an Australian hard rock band which was formed in the 1970s and the band is considered as the pioneer of hard rock.

Through the years the band went through sone major line up changes and it currently consists Angus Young, Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams, Brian Johnson and Stevie Young. During the years the band sold over 200 million records world wide which made them one of the best selling bands of all time. Even though the band was formed in 1973 AC/DC is still one of the most popular rock bands in the whole world. The band’s most famous songs including the Highway to Hell, Let There Be Rock, Back in Black, Problem Child and so on. From May 2015 the Australian rock band will be on a world tour with the Rock or Bust World Tour which supports AC/DC’s latest album the Rock or Bust. With the tour the band will give 28 concerts in Europe including cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Glasgow, Dublin and London.

In Madrid AC/DC will give two concerts, the first one will be on Sunday 31st May in 2015 and their second concert will be on Tuesday 2nd June in 2015. Both of the concerts will take place at Estadio Vicente Calderón.

Top events in Madrid in 2015

Which are the top events in Madrid in 2015? In this article you can read about the best programs and activities you can do in 2015 in the city.

Madrid is the capital and the largest city of Spain. Madrid is also the third most populous city in Europe after London and Berlin. As Spain and Madrid are a popular tourist destination there are countless programs and events in the city such as the various festivals, concerts, markets, exhibitions as well as the most famous attractions in the city. So lets go through some of the highlights of the city in 2015.

One of the biggest art festival in Madrid is the ‘Festival de Otoño a Primavera’ which is the most important annual art festival in the city. During the seven month long festival you can experience the different forms of art (dance, drama, music) through the remarkable performances. The festival already started last year in November and it ends in June 2015.

Another famous festival in Madrid is the ‘Festival Flamenco’. The ‘Festival Flamenco’ is a dancing competition which is accompanied with live guitar concerts. The ‘Festival Flamenco’ takes place some time in February 2015 but the exact dates are not confirmed yet.

If you are more into sports then the ‘Madrid Marathon’ is absolutely the best program for you. The annual ‘Madrid Marathon’ attracts around 13.000 runners from all over the world. This year the marathon will be held on 26th April.

In May another festival the ‘Fiesta de San Isidro’ will be held in the city. At the ‘Fiesta de San Isidro’ you can enjoy the best open air dance and theatre performances along side with the various concerts and sport competitions. The ‘Fiesta de San Isidro’ dates are not confirmed yet. In the end of November like in the other European cities the Christmas markets in Madrid will open. The markets usually open in the end of November and they are open until the end of December. At the market you can try the best traditional dishes and also do your pre-Christmas shopping.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool, Champions League

The UEFA Champions League is in the 60th season of Europe’s premier club football tournament and this year the final match of the Champions League will be held in the capital of Germany in the heart of Berlin. The Champions League final will be played on June 6th in 2015. But before that there are tons of other matches, and on November 2nd Reald Madrid will play against Liverpool in Madrid.

last match of the season will be held 6th June 2015. The incumbent title holders are Real Madrid and Real Madrid played against FC Basel 1893 on Tuesday 16th September when Liverpool had their game against PFC Ludogorets Razgard. After the results Real Madrid and Liverpool will have face again each other as a repeat of the 1981 European Cup Final. Liverpool will play against Real Madrid who claimed their tenth European title in Lisbon this May. The game between Liverpool and Real Madrid will take place on Tuesday 4th November 2014. Liverpool will play Real Madrid in the capital of Spain, in Madrid. They will play at Santiago Bernabeu from 8.45 in the evening. Flamenco learning and show in Madrid
